Hi Everyone:  This Estate Sale is one where you'll want to be the first in line!  A true estate sale-full of history.  There are very unusual pieces of antique furniture (most from the middle & late 1800's).  Several pieces were purchased from The House of the Good Shepherd in Kansas City, Missouri which was a charitable society started by the Women's Christian Association in 1870.  At one time the House of the Good Shepherd housed unwed mothers and orphaned children.  According to the family, only one person owned more patents than Dr. Biersmith's great, great grandfather--(drum roll please!!!)

THOMAS EDISON.  How impressive is that fact to include in your family history?

Dr. Biersmith taught at NLU/ULM for many years.  Dr. Biersmith and his wife, Barbara, owned Sylvan Learning Center.  They raised their four children in Monroe.  The  Biersmith's have decided to leave a lot of their family treasures for you to enjoy as they move forward on a new adventure in their lives.  They moved to a cabin in the mountains of Colorado.  How wonderful!!!

One last thing.  Pay close attention to the Glassware list.  There are very impressive pieces and a vast array of old quality sterling.  Can't wait to see all of you later this week.  Love to all.
